Media Research Center reports that Keith Olbermann is linking "domestic terrorism" with right-wing blogs.
On Tuesday's Countdown, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann devoted an entire segment to discussing links between a man arrested for domestic terrorism and "far right-wing blogs," describing the man as a "gushing online admirer" of conservative commentators Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingraham, and Ann Coulter, as the Countdown host suggested conservatives had inspired the man to commit terrorism.
This is similar to this post on Liberal Avenger, where the most important fact is that the guy posted on FreeRepublic.
It should be obvious to sensible people, but I'll go ahead and point out here that the guy who sent the fake anthrax to Olbermann is sick and that--not the fact he posts on right-wing blogs--is the problem. It's not the least bit surprising that Olbermann would use this situation to fan the fires of liberal hysteria. We've had a variety of attacks on conservative speakers for several years, but, evidently, Olbermann wasn't upset at pie-throwing and physical assault of those people.
Here's the best part of Olbermann's interview with John Cook of Radar Online:
And his, the Marc Costanzo alias that he used, his profile said Ann Coulter is a goddess and 'I idolize Malkin and Ingraham.' And there are a lot of posts that suggest that he's a big fan of Malkin and Coulter.
So there you have it. If you like Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, and Laura Ingraham, you must be a domestic terrorist. I frequently talk about how much I admire Ann Coulter and state that she is a goddess.
I must admit, however, that I say this because it drives liberals crazy, not because I actually think Coulter is always right. It's just too much fun watching the moonbats go batshit crazy when you say such a thing. But I guess that makes me likely to send fake anthrax out, according to Olbermann and the moonbats.
I find the liberal hysteria about this situation enlightening, considering their contempt for conservative concern about terrorism. These are the same people who will tell you that sex, drugs, smoking, and violence in movies and on television do not influence behavior, but a guy posts on FreeRepublic and that is an indictment of all conservative blogs. Try some consistency, guys, please.
