The New York Times put out this tepid hit piece on Sarah Palin, filled with the sorts of innuendoes that set liberal hearts a-flutter (some are already comparing her to Dick Cheney and the evil Bush administration). But as Jennifer Rubin notes, this is pretty shallow stuff, even for the New York Times.
The best the hit piece can bring up is that Palin hired people she knew for her staff, she enquired about removing certain books from the library, and she told city employees not to talk to the press. For this, the useful idiots are comparing her to Darth Vader, I kid you not.
I guess when a governor's approval rating is 80%, it's pretty hard to find anything damning, but that didn't stop the NYT from trying. But all they found are the usual things administrators do: administrate.
I guess the bar for outrage really is quite low when Jesse Taylor is busting a vein because Palin's administration wanted to use private e-mails (and notice in the comments that they are still trying to claim Trig is Bristol's kid. These people never give up).
