American Attitudes Shift with Military Successes

Back on this post, a reader was aghast that I actually said that more Americans are supporting the war than in previous polls.

"How can you say Americans support the war?!" was asked.

I can say that because the poll numbers support it. And guess what? Here's another story discussing the shift in attitudes after military successes.

This isn't to say that we have smooth sailing from here on out. The Iraqi government is doing a terrible job politically of creating a functioning society. But that doesn't mean Americans aren't hopeful.
