What Happened to Those Cries for Impeachment?

It seems that for the last year or so, all I've heard about is how when the Democrats take Congress, they should impeach President Bush (see here, here, here, and here for starters).

But now that there will be a Democrat House and Senate, where are those impeachment guys now?

*Crickets*

Nope, no impeachment here. Grandma Pelosi has been saying for months that impeachment won't happen. Pelosi knew this was a no-brainer early on, but evidently even the lefty blogosphere is starting to catch on.

Via Jules Crittenden, a spate of lefty bloggers are now saying impeachment would be a waste of time and political capital.

Darnit. I was so looking forward to the Dems looking like fools trying to impeach President Bush for using the same intelligence they did.
