Somehow, I doubt the bloggers at Delaware Liberal were concerned when a teacher went on an anti-George W. Bush rant in class. Or when a teacher gave an anti-George W. Bush vocabulary test.
No, I'm sure they'd tell you that it was just truth-telling and no big deal.
But let one of their little darlings get exposed to six words not praising Teh One's administration and there are calls for the teacher's head on a platter (or at least questioning his credentials).
I guess freedom of expression is only for liberals, and they really don't like object lessons that support facts.
My opinion is that when teachers express opinions you dislike, you handle this with your child. Explain about dissenting opinions and that nearly half the electorate didn't vote for Teh One and don't agree with his decisions. And, for that matter, anyone familiar with the new Veep is probably more than happy to get rid of that liar, as well.
But I'm sure the fine people at DL were equally outraged at criticism of George W. Bush from elementary school teachers. Riiight.
