It's hard to believe there are idiots out there who think this qualifies as economic policy. Thank God even Teh One isn't stupid enough to say this crap.
The comic gold comes in the comments when I asked the question I always ask of the unhinged left: how much is enough for taxes? When have "the rich" paid enough? How much is their "fair share"?
They can never answer it, of course, because they don't want to be held to either a dollar amount or a percentage of income. The idea is that Teh Rich have a grove of money trees in the backyard and can just go pick a few Bennys to pay off their tax burden, rather than (a) hiring tons of lawyers and accountants to hide their money and (b) hiring fewer employees or laying off more.
After commenting in said thread, I've come to the conclusion that Delaware Liberals are exponentially dumber than Texas liberals, because they actually think that favoring our current system of progressivity means you "think no one has to pay for government." Or that pointing out how punishing businesses who move their operations offshore isn't going to make them stay in the U.S. constitutes "not having real information." I'm sorry, Cassandra, for using logic and living in the real world, as opposed to the fantasy land that defies economics and uses lollipops for currency.
But then, I have to remind myself that this is the same Bozo who advocates shooting Republicans, so who, but an idiot from Delaware would take him seriously?
