"Life's Short. Get a Divorce."

So read a billboard in Chicago that has since been taken down.

The billboard for attorneys Corri Fetman and Kelly Garland put up the billboard last week, but it caused so much of a ruckus that a city alderman who lives nearby found a technical reason to have the sign removed.

"I called the building inspector and told him to do his job, and he did," said Alderman Burton Natarus. "It has nothing to do with content or anything else. They did not have a permit, and they were ordered to take it down."

And, yes, the billboard resulted in a boost in business for the lawyers. Who says advertising doesn't work?
