That's the number of convictions against terrorist Ahmed Ghailani, who killed 224 Americans in bombings in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Liberals are pompously arguing that the system worked and that it's unconscionable to complain that terrorists shouldn't be tried in a court system designed for petty thieves. What nonsense.
My favorite excuse is that Barack Obama's DOJ has promised to keep the guy in jail regardless of the trial results. Now there's a result that should send shivers down the spine of anyone to the right of Teh One. The idea that we're depending on the POTUS to decide this guy's dangerous enough to keep in jail regardless of the result of these show trials does put us smack dab in the middle of the moonbats' favorite metaphor: a banana republic.
As Patterico noted, the witness against Ghailani who was barred from his civilian trial probably would have been allowed in a military trial (Glenn Greenwald's assumptions notwithstanding).
This embarassment should have the Holder DOJ thinking twice before trying this again. In the meantime, we're all a little less safe because of the political correctness of this regime.

Turkey: No Friend to the West?
Read this post if you want to understand the growing problem the West--specifically the U.S.and Israel--have with Turkey.
Turkey is deliberately helping the Iranians to undermine U.S. policy in the Middle East, and by sending a flotilla to Gaza, in defiance of Israel's blockade, is tantamount to an act of war, it seems to me. There was nothing humanitarian about the trip, because as William Jacobson notes, humanitarian aid can come over land. That this group tried to get through the blockade speaks to more sinister aims to bring weapons into Gaza.
Our president's throwing our allies under the bus, including Israel. More here, including the fact that the group responsible for the flotilla supports--surprise!--radical Islam.

Leftwingers Make Big Deal Out of Fox News Not Pointing Out More Domestic Terrorism
You have to wonder sometimes what is it the Left actually wants. Now we have moonbats complaining that the guy flying a plane into an IRS building in Austin yesterday isn't being classified as terrorism by either the FBI or Fox News.
You'd think they'd be happy that Fox News isn't pointing out yet another act of terrorism on Obama's watch, but, somehow, they're cranky because Fox News accepted the FBI explanation that this guy isn't a terrorist.
I'm really surprised you have to sift through the comments to find the typical, "It's not terrorism cuz he's a white guy" crap because at least that sounds like something lefties say. Instead, we're treated to leftwingers smacking Fox News for not getting hysterical about this when, usually, the leftwingers smack Fox News around for getting hysterical. More of that damned if you do, damned if you don't thing, I suppose.
UPDATE(s): Thank God CAIR knows a terrorist when it sees one.
And while Scott Brown "yawns" (according to Think Progress) about the attack, if you read the guy's statements, he's clearly on the left. Nonetheless, leftwing media sycophants say they guy "sounds like a Tea Partier." Yeah, there have been so many violent acts come out of the tea party movement.
